I Can See the Red Tail Lights

Posted 11 October 2007 under , ,

I flew over to Barcelona with my folks for a few days to visit my sister. It was my first time in Europe, and I’ll tell you what: those people know how to live. I took a lot of pictures while I was out there. Some of the highlights:

This bar was my favorite — the best sangria AND free palomitas. And so multinational, featuring white people from all over the world.

Mom and Dad at the top of La Pedrera, the craziest apartment complex you ever saw.

Mmm narrow depth of field. Am I becoming a photo douche? Jury’s still out.

Jury’s back: Yes.1

My sister’s the coolest.

The Coke over there is delicious, made with azucar instead of corn syrup. Again and again, it seems like they just get the small things right.

In Park Güell, which has some great views of the city and live traditional Spanish music.

Someday, I won’t laugh at stuff like this. That day is not today.

Check out more pictures through the photo stream on the right, or if you want to see them all, you’ll have to become my Flickr buddy. And if anyone’s thinking of heading over there, let me know — I’ll be there. On a sweet Vespa.
